On Monday, February 28, the President of France Emmanuel Macron had another telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. Their talks lasted about 1.5 hours, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
During the conversation, Macron asked Putin to stop attacks on the civilian population and ensure the safety of the main roads in Ukraine. According to the Elysee Palace, on these points the head of the Kremlin «confirmed his readiness to participate».
Recall that on February 24, early in the morning, Putin announced a «special operation» on the territory of Ukraine, actually declared war on Ukraine, and on the same day, Russian military personnel began shelling Ukrainian cities.
