German Farke resigned as Krasnodar head coach


MOSCOW, March 2 The Russian football club Krasnodar terminated the contract with the German coach Daniel Farke, according to the Krasnodar website. The decision was made by mutual agreement of the parties. Together with Farke, the club will leave his coaching staff. Aleksey Antonyuk will be the acting head coach. Farke was appointed head coach of Krasnodar in January 2022. The contract with the 45-year-old specialist was calculated until June 2024. Before Krasnodar, he headed Lippstadt in Germany and the second team of Borussia Dortmund, in England the specialist worked at Norwich. After 18 rounds, Krasnodar is sixth in the RPL table, gaining 29 points. On March 7, the team is supposed to take Yekaterinburg Ural. Earlier, the German Markus Gisdol left the head coach of the Moscow Lokomotiv, and the assistant coach of the Ukrainian Andrey Voronin left the Moscow Dynamo.
