During the second talks on March 3, the parties agreed to create humanitarian corridors. On February 21, in response to requests from the Donbass republics and after an appeal from State Duma deputies, Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the sovereignty of the LPR and DPR. Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched a military special operation to demilitarize Ukraine. According to Putin, it is also necessary to carry out the denazification of Ukraine, to bring to justice all war criminals responsible for “bloody crimes against civilians” in Donbass. With the support of the Russian army, the DPR and LPR groups are developing an offensive, there are losses on both sides.
