Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov instructed to check the companies that announced their withdrawal from the Russian market. This was reported in the telegram channel of the department.
According to the press release, the prosecutor's offices of the regions check companies for compliance with labor laws, the procedure for paying salaries to employees, as well as the organization's obligations to counterparties and the country.
“Supervisory attention is focused on the inadmissibility of abuses related to restricting the supply of products of a narrow product segment. Each fact of termination of activity will be given a legal assessment for the presence of signs of fictitious and (or) deliberate bankruptcy, liability for which is provided for by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the department added.
