MOSCOW, March 12 The International Ski Federation (FIS) congratulated Russian skier Natalya Nepryaev with a victory in the overall standings of the World Cup in cross-country skiing. Earlier, amid the aggravation of Russian-Ukrainian relations, FIS first deprived Russia of the right to host the World Cup Final in Tyumen, and then decided not to allow athletes from Russia and Belarus to participate in competitions under the auspices of the organization «Natalia has finally won the big Crystal Globe of the Cross Country Skiing World Cup. Congratulations Natalia,» reads a message posted on the FIS page in Twitter.Nepryayeva is 26 years old, she is the Beijing Olympic champion in the relay race, the silver medalist in the skiathlon and the bronze medal in the team sprint. In 2018, Nepryaeva won the Olympic bronze medal in the relay team. She also has three world championship medals, a victory in the overall standings of the Tour de Ski stage this season. Nepryaeva became the second and third in the overall standings of the World Cup.
