This is evidenced by the high turnout,» he said. According to Poletaev, the delegation still has to do a lot of work, to analyze the data received from other observers, from the authorities of the republic. «But already now, according to a number of criteria, it is clear that the elections were held in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan, within the framework of international norms,» the senator said. Poletaev recalled that 2,577 polling stations were opened in Turkmenistan on Saturday.
