MOSCOW, Mar 14 Biathlete Irina Kazakevich became the champion of Russia in the men's pursuit championship of Russia in Ufa. The race was held as part of the championship of Russia and the Cup of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU). Kazakevich finished fourth. She covered the distance of 10 kilometers in 32 minutes 58 seconds, with three misses on four firing lines. The second place in the standings of the championship of Russia was taken by Kristina Reztsova (9.4 seconds behind Kazakevich; 6 misses), the third — by Larisa Kuklina (+42.4; 1). The winner of the race was Dinara Alimbekova from Belarus, who covered the distance in 31 minutes 48, 8 seconds. At the competitions in Ufa, the awards are played in two categories: Russian athletes compete for the awards of the Russian Cup, all participants in the competition for the awards of the RBU Cup.
