MOSCOW, Mar 17 Spanish Villarreal defeated Italian Juventus in in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, the Italians failed to reach the quarterfinals for the third time in a row. The meeting, held in Turin, ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the guests. Goals were scored by Gerard Moreno (78th minute, penalty), Pau Torres (85) and Arnaud Groeneveld (90+2, penalty). In the first match of the 1/8 finals, which took place in Villarreal on February 22, the teams tied :one. Villarreal are the current winners of the Europa League. The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on 18 March. The first legs will take place on April 5 and 6, with the second legs on April 12 and 13. Previously, English Liverpool and Manchester City, Spanish Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, as well as German Bayern Munich and Portuguese Benfica reached the quarter-finals.
