MOSCOW, Mar 21 The Norwegian Swimming Federation plans to boycott the World Aquatics Championships sports of 2022, if the International Swimming Federation (FINA) allows Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in competitions. Earlier, due to the situation in Ukraine, FINA allowed the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions under the auspices of the organization in a neutral status. «This (boycott) was discussed at our board meeting on March 10. We are in the process of developing a joint declaration of the Nordic countries,» said the head of the Norwegian Swimming Federation, Kato Bratbakk. The World Aquatics Championships will be held from June 18 to July 3 in Budapest.
