Mobile operators doing their best to restore networks
Status as of Wednesday , March 23, the cities of Mariupol, Vorzel, Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel and Izyum remain without mobile communications, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the New edition.
“Mobile operators Kyivstar, Vodafone and Lifecell continue restoring and maintaining coverage of mobile communications and Internet access for Ukrainians. However, Mariupol (Donetsk region), settlements in the Kiev region — Vorzel, Irpen, Bucha and Gostomel, as well as Izyum of the Kharkiv region, remain without communication,» the press service of the department informs.
In the message it is said that specialists blocked 97 IP addresses and domains from which they spread information attacks on the telecommunications infrastructure of Ukraine.
“The critical infrastructure and the national network of Ukrtelecom are working. Electronic communications services are provided everywhere except Chernihiv and Lugansk regions: the company is looking for opportunities to resume telecommunications services in these areas. Repair work continues to restore services in Fastiv, Bila Tserkva and Boyarka, Kiev region,» the service noted.
