MOSCOW, Mar 23 If NATO sends its peacekeepers to Ukraine, it will be a direct clash of armed forces of the Russian Federation and the alliance, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. «Our Polish colleagues have already announced that there will be a NATO summit now, we need to send peacekeepers. I hope they understand what they are talking about. This will be the very direct clash of Russian and NATO armed forces, which everyone did not want to avoid, but said that it should not take place in principle,» Lavrov said at a meeting with MGIMO students and teachers.
