Schools in the Polish capital take about 800-1000 new students daily
Nearly 300,000 Ukrainians took refuge in Warsaw, which increased the population of the capital by about 17% reached the limit of how many people they could help and urged the government to seek international support.

Warsaw City Hall spokeswoman Monika Beit-Lutik told RDC that more than 200 trains and more than 800 buses carrying refugees arrived in the Polish capital after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Municipalities and more than 10,000 volunteers supported 160,000 people.
12 children were born to Ukrainian families in Warsaw
Many refugees arrive not only by train and bus, but also by car, and are also accommodated privately with their friends or relatives.
In City Hall reported that the total number of arrivals in Warsaw had reached almost 300,000.
«This means that the number of residents of Warsaw has increased by about 17% since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine», the statement says.
The city authorities themselves provided more than 25,000 people with places to sleep at least for one night. Other housing has been provided in the regions, by non-governmental organizations, businesses, religious organizations and other groups, many Poles are hosting Ukrainians at home.
It is also reported that due to the large number of children from Ukraine, Warsaw schools receive about 800-1000 new students. Also, 12 children were born to Ukrainian families in Warsaw hospitals during this time.
