The former parliamentarian did not specify in what context the TV channel showed this map. In the image he published, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Rivne and Ternopil regions of Ukraine are designated as part of Poland. The compilers of the map added the Chernivtsi region to Romania, and Transcarpathia to Hungary. The territories of Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, as well as the republics of Donbass are marked as part of the Russian Federation. As part of independent Ukraine, according to Polish TV, only the central and northern regions of the country will remain. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not rule out that Poland, whose authorities declare the need to send NATO peacekeepers to Ukraine, would like to settle in the west of this country. In light of the fact that these actions will lead to a direct clash between Russia and the alliance, the minister noted that the Polish representatives are known for their «non-standard moves» that are aimed at provoking «big trouble».

With the support of the Russian military, the DPR and LPR groups are developing an offensive. But the occupation of Ukraine is out of the question, Putin emphasized.
