"The Secretary-General strongly condemns the recent escalation of the conflict in Yemen, including Friday airstrikes by the Houthis on civilian and energy installations in Saudi Arabia, and subsequent coalition airstrikes in Sana'a, which reportedly killed eight civilians, including five children and two women,” said Dujarric.
According to him, “these airstrikes also caused damage to the UN staff quarters in Sanaa.” providing vital humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni population,” he said.
