Don't waste your money on them.
Doctors told me which medicines are ineffective, especially in times of war, when only essential medicines have to be bought. Volunteers definitely do not need to spend the money raised on medicines from the list below, Khronika.info reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
This was told by a group of blogger doctors leading the sviy.doc page on Instagram.
Homeopathy. This is pseudo-science, homeopathic medicines don't work. That is, they do not work at all.
Any herbal preparations. These are almost all over-the-counter sedatives, herbal cough syrups, herbal «hepatoprotectors». Herbal medicines are not evidence-based medicines for any serious illness, registered primarily as dietary supplements.
Antivirals. They don't work. These include amizon, amixin, anaferon, sinupret, ocsilococcinum, proteflazid, rimantadine, novirin (and other drugs based on inosine pranobex), arbivir (and other drugs based on arbidol, aka umifenovir).
What you need for ARVI < p>The only thing that can help is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. For example, ibuprofen. Or antipyretics such as paracetamol. It should be noted that the names of drugs whose active ingredient is ibuprofen or paracetamol may be different.
In emergency conditions, there are drugs like nimesil, ketanov, dexalgin, but some have side effects (for example, nimesil), others not universal, because they do not affect temperature and inflammation.
During a runny nose, it will alleviate the condition: nosol, humer, aquamaris and the like. From the bookmark: otrivin, nazivin, farmazolin.
«Cardial» medicines. For example, validol, valocordin (aka Corvalol). These are medicines without proven effectiveness, they do not really help.
In addition, there are barbiturates in Corvalol, Barboval. At their core, these are addictive drugs.
