MOSCOW, April 4 Avangard Omsk hockey club on its official website thanked Canadian coach Bob Hartley for the four years that the specialist spent in the team. On Monday, Hartley announced his resignation as the head coach of Avangard. “Good job, Bob! Thank you for four great seasons, for two finals, for gold and the Gagarin Cup We love and look forward to the opening of a new arena in Omsk,” the message says. Hartley has been working at Avangard since 2018. In the 2020/21 season, Hartley became the owner of the Gagarin Cup with the Omsk club. In the KHL playoffs of the current season, Avangard reached the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference.
