Van Gaal made the announcement during a TV talk show. According to the trainer, he underwent 25 radiotherapy treatments. Earlier in March, it was reported that a 70-year-old specialist had contracted the coronavirus. The Dutch team led by van Gaal reached the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
