All the victims are now in hospitals and receiving medical assistance. Zango condemned and called this attack «sad and regrettable.» He also called on the government, security agencies and the international community to come to the aid of the people, support them and solve the humanitarian problems caused by the constant attacks of militants. The local police confirmed the attack and sent police officers to restore order.
