MOSCOW, Apr 7 The standard of living of Russians cannot depend on the whims of foreign politicians, the prime minister said Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. “But, if you are still forced to leave, the enterprise must continue to work. After all, it provides jobs. Our citizens work there. Protecting their interests is our priority. The standard of living of people cannot depend on the whims of foreign politicians,” Mishustin stressed, speaking with the government's report in the State Duma. Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” Against the background of this special operation, to date, about 600 foreign companies from various sectors have announced the suspension or termination of work in Russia.
