Member countries of the European Union on Thursday agreed on another package of anti-Russian restrictions, which, among other things, imply a gradual cessation of coal purchases from Russia. «From my point of view, we we will have to use this transitional period (120 days),” said the head of the German government. At the same time, Scholz expressed the hope that Berlin would be able to abandon Russian coal faster. However, he noted, the industry needs time to find new suppliers.
