In Primorsky Krai, three schoolchildren from Partizansk smashed tiles on a stele in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported by representatives of the district administration.
The lining of the porcelain stoneware pedestal on Nekrasovskaya Street was damaged on April 8. According to the district police officer, three boys did it — two of them are eight years old, and one is 11.
Their parents were issued protocols on improper upbringing of children (part 1 of article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), which involve a fine of up to 500 rubles.
The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told TASS that the children were “from normal families” and “were not registered in the PDN”, and “[their] parents are ready to compensate for the damage, to take part in the restoration of the pedestal.”< /p>
At the same time, the Primorye Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case due to the destruction of the pedestal, in which “interrogations are carried out, the dwellings of the defendants and their phones are examined” (points “a”, “b” of part 2 of article 243.4 of the Criminal Code) .
