MOSCOW, 9 Apr. Russian fighter Petr Yan spoke brightly about his opponent, Jamaican-American Aljamain Sterling, before the fight at UFC 273. After the weigh-in ceremony, Yan addressed the fans and Sterling, warning the current champion. «Guys, he is doomed,» the Russian fighter said .The fight between Yan and Sterling will take place on April 10 as part of the 273rd UFC tournament in Jacksonville (USA). In the first duel with an American athlete, held in March 2021, Yang lost the title after a disqualification for an illegal knee to the opponent's head.
