Archival photoMOSCOW, April 11 Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said in an interview with the Izvestiya newspaper that the question of forming an international investigation team on the provocation in Bucha is not yet on the table.

"I have not heard about the formation of an international investigation team in the UN format to investigate what happened in Bucha. In practical terms, this issue has not yet been considered, and I doubt that any solution can be found here, and without a clear mandate, the UN cannot do this. The opinions of a number of countries were expressed that this incident, in principle, should be investigated, but it is not clear who should do it and how. In principle, we do not believe in any "independent" investigations that will be dealt with by Western states and Ukraine", said Polyansky.

He recalled that before his eyes there is “a process with an” investigation “of the MH17 crash in 2014, which is increasingly reminiscent of a staged farce.” Polyansky also noted that international structures that deal with such things have recently been subjected to “strong influence of Westerners and it is also difficult to call their conclusions unbiased.” He also mentioned the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, “which operates very unbalanced, out of touch with the facts and in an anti-Syrian vein,” which the Russian side has repeatedly pointed out. The Ukrainian authorities and media have previously distributed a video allegedly filmed in the city of Bucha, Kiev region where the bodies of the dead lie on the road. Many Internet users questioned the credibility of Kyiv's accusations against Moscow, noting that there was no blood near the bodies on the ground, and some of the dead had white armbands on their sleeves and could have been killed by Ukrainian security forces or territorial defense. Users also noticed that the “dead” move their hands, and when looking in the rear-view mirror of the operator's car, it seems that one of the “dead” changes position as soon as the car passes by.Kiva called the provocation in Bucha “a performance with corpses” The Russian Defense Ministry stated that all photographs and video materials published by the Kiev regime, allegedly testifying to some kind of “crimes” by Russian military personnel in the city of Bucha, Kiev region, are “another provocation.” As noted in the military department, during the time this settlement was under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, not a single local resident suffered from any violent actions. The ministry noted that all Russian units completely left Bucha on March 30, and exits from the city in the northern direction were not blocked, while the southern outskirts, including residential areas, were shelled by Ukrainian troops around the clock from large-caliber artillery, tanks and multiple launch rocket systems. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov later said that Russia categorically rejects any accusations of involvement in the death of people in Bucha and requires international leaders not to rush with sweeping accusations against Russia, but to listen to Moscow's arguments. According to him, Russian diplomats will continue to promote the topic of the provocation in Bucha on the agenda of the UN Security Council. As Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said, the situation in Bucha is a provocation to discredit Russia, a staging, a performance designed for a Western audience. He added that NATO countries do not need an investigation, the perpetrators have already been appointed. Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev called the provocation in Bucha and the information about the maternity hospital in Mariupol fakes, ripened in the cynical imagination of Ukrainian propaganda.Hungary called for an independent investigation into the events in Bucha
