An assistant to a Yaroslavl deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was deprived of her status after a request to dismantle the letter Z from the «facade of a cultural heritage site»

Semyon Taraev, Yevgenia Ovod, an assistant to the Yaroslavl municipal deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was deprived of her status after applying to the court with a request to dismantle the «advertising structure» from the «facade of a cultural heritage site.» Taraev spoke about this on his VK page.

We are talking about the banner «7.5 by 9 meters» with the letter Z, posted on the building of the regional Center for Patriotic Education. “The cloth falls under the legal and universal understanding of advertising (see the Federal Law "On Advertising" and the Great Russian Encyclopedia), placement, which, on any OKN is prohibited,” Taraev wrote.

In the post, the assistant to the deputy wrote: “I knew that the red party is not quite the one it claims to be. I was aware that there were a number of significant conventions and deviations from the teachings of the classics of Marxism, but support for a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine opened my eyes to the true essence of the Red Party. It is not class interests that are put at the forefront, but «statehood»; capitalist fatherland.”

Yesterday, the Kirovsky District Court of Yaroslavl denied Taraev's claim. «Citizens do not have the authority to protect cultural heritage sites, as well as to control the use of cultural heritage sites,» 76.ru quoted the court as saying.
