The German defense concern Rheinmetall is preparing to supply Ukraine with up to 50 Leopard 1 tanks and up to 60 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
It is noted that the Leopard 1 is the predecessor of the Leopard 2 currently used by the Bundeswehr. However, deliveries may take a month and a half.
