MOSCOW, April 12 Journalist Vasily Utkin told why he does not plan to leave Russia.
"Have I thought about leaving Russia? It is difficult for me to imagine circumstances that would threaten my life and the lives of my loved ones right now. In this case, I would think about anything, but in my 50-year life, I have never come across this. I haven’t thought about such plans and don’t think about it, ”Sports.ru quoted him as saying.
Utkin noted that the threat to physical freedom could be a reason for leaving the country, but he finds it difficult to imagine such a situation. He added that he turned down offers abroad because he works for a Russian audience.
"I don't know why I should leave Russia. I have family, friends, business, football team here. I really don't know where I should go. I intend to live here, develop and do my own thing. I'm already used to the fact that the state does not help us. It only obligated to pay salaries to employees. And it did not help private enterprise. Problems arise from time to time. But you have to survive", the journalist said.
Utkin also admitted that he has not had a passport for the second year, which expired during the pandemic.
