Singer Tina Karol arrived in Venice , where she performed the anthem of Ukraine and the opening of the exhibition «This is Ukraine: Defending Freedom» at the Venice Biennale 2022. The artist appeared before the public in a beautiful embroidered dress, Khronika.info reports with reference to Channel 24.
The opening of the exhibition, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Office of the President and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, took place April 21. It began with an address by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The official part was also addressed by:
- Mayor of Venice Luigi Brugnaro;
- President of the Venice Biennale Roberto Cicutto;
- Ukrainian businessman Viktor Pinchuk;
- leader of the «Ocean group Elsa» Svyatoslav Vakarchuk;
- Ambassador of Ukraine to Italy Yaroslav Melnyk.
People's Artist of Ukraine Tina Karol was invited to the event. She took the stage in a beautiful embroidered dress, high-heeled shoes, with a neat haircut and delicate makeup. In front of all those present, the performer sang the anthem of Ukraine without musical accompaniment.

Exhibition «This is Ukraine: Defending freedom»: the main thing
- This exhibition is dedicated to the freedom to choose, to speak, to exist. It confirms the cultural resilience of Ukraine.
- The first part presented new works by artists who continue to live and work in Ukraine during the war — Yevheniya Belorusets, Nikita Kadana and Lesya Khomenko.
- The second part parts will show works of Ukrainian artists with international colleagues. Featured authors include: Marina Abramovic (Serbia), Olafur Eliasson (Denmark), JR (France), Damien Gerst (UK), Boris Mikhailov (Ukraine) and Takashi Murakami (Japan).
