American General Jack Keane criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Sky News for refusing to supply Ukraine with weapons. Earlier, the German leader said that Berlin had almost exhausted its ability to supply its military systems to Kiev. According to him, the Bundeswehr will now focus on strengthening its own defense capabilities. <…> It’s too bad they don’t want to help the Ukrainians,” exclaimed former US Army Deputy Chief of Staff General Keane. Moscow has repeatedly pointed to Western attempts to prolong the conflict in Ukraine by supplying weapons there. The Ministry of Defense warned that the cargo would become legitimate targets for the Aerospace Forces on the territory of a neighboring state. Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal «the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.» For this, according to him, it is planned to carry out the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, to bring to justice all war criminals responsible for bloody deeds against civilians in Donbass.
