File photo PARIS, Apr 25 Incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron is gaining 58.55 percent in the second round of the presidential election, according to the country's Interior Ministry after counting one hundred percent of the vote. Macron's rival, leader of the far-right National Rally party Marine Le Pen gets 41.45 percent. She admitted defeat, but promised to continue fulfilling her obligations to the French. In particular, Le Pen said that her political movement will start a big fight in parliamentary elections. Voting ended at 20:00 local time (21:00 Moscow time). The turnout was 63.23 percent. The President of France is elected for five years. About 49 million citizens can take part in the voting. The first round was held on April 10, 12 candidates took part in it. Then the incumbent head of state won 27.84 percent of the vote, the leader of the «National Association» — 23.15 percent. The President of the French Constitutional Court will officially announce the results of the vote on April 27.
