London. File photoLONDON, Apr 26The UK is imposing a ban on exports to Russia of technology and goods that «could be used against Ukraine,» the Department of International Trade said in a statement.
"The UK announced a ban on the export of goods and technologies that Russia can use to oppress the heroic people of Ukraine. Among these goods may be equipment for interception and monitoring", the statement says.
It is not specified what specific equipment and technologies are in question. It is noted that this measure will help close all existing loopholes for the purchase of these goods and technology from the UK.
