Garth was re-elected president of the Russian Luge Federation


MOSCOW, April 29, by Oleg Bogatov. Natalia Garth is once again elected President Luge Federation of Russia (FSSR), the federation's press service reported. Reporting and election conference of the FSSR is held on Friday in Moscow. Garth is re-elected for 4 years. She was the only registered candidate in the presidential elections. Garth led the federation in 2012, and then was re-elected in 2014 and 2018. At the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, Russian lugers won one bronze – Tatyana Ivanova became the first athlete in Russian history to win an individual Olympic medal in women's luge.
