Earlier, the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that an attempted terrorist attack was prevented in the Mayak village using a drone. The department noted that a drone with explosives was launched from the Ukrainian side. «The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case on the discovery of an unmanned aerial vehicle with an explosive device on the territory of Mayak PRTC OJSC. The criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 203 of the PMR Criminal Code (terrorist act),” the report says. It is specified that on the night of May 3, unknown persons, in order to carry out an explosion, sent an unmanned aerial vehicle with an explosive device attached to it to the territory of the Mayak television and radio center, to the hangar of the transformer cooling system.
