According to the author of the article, American intelligence is «adding fuel to the fire», which provokes a worsening situation in Ukraine. «This behavior of the United States is incompatible with its status as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, moreover, it is not in line with the epochal trends of peace and development,» the article says. The People's Daily observer believes that the United States is responsible for «creating chaos» and seeks to delaying Russia's special operation.The US Ambassador to the UN confirmed that Washington is transferring intelligence to Kyiv»In fact, this is a very dangerous measure that could lead to more violent maneuvers on both sides,» the Chinese newspaper concluded. American media previously claimed that the United States provided Ukraine with intelligence about cruiser «Moskva», which was later denied by the Pentagon. In addition, it was reported that Washington was secretly transmitting to Kyiv information about the events on the battlefield «in real time», including details of the movements of Russian troops after the announcement of the second phase of the special operation; on the basis of these data, attacks were allegedly carried out that led to the death of Russian officers. The US Department of Defense said that Washington does not provide Ukraine with information about the whereabouts of Russian commanders on the battlefield. Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine since February 24. According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian military strikes only on military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, nothing threatens the civilian population. The agency called the liberation of Donbass the main goal of the operation.
