The administration of the Kherson region should step up work on social protection of the population, the least protected categories of citizens, said Anna Kuznetsova, Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, at a meeting with the head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.
"It is important to generally build a system in the social direction and appoint responsible persons who will carry out these tasks in the direction of social protection in the same way that in Russia there is now an increase in payments, benefits — this means citizenship issues, issues related to paperwork and different types of support. This is the healthcare system. We are ready to provide all possible assistance in this direction", said Kuznetsova.
The vice speaker noted that it is important to pay attention to the orphans and the institutions where they are, so that they continue to function in full. «We are here ready to provide all kinds of assistance, including in the medical direction. We know that here, in the Kherson region , there are children with developmental disabilities and serious illnesses,» she added. The region is left with specialists who are engaged in the sounded directions. Family-type homes were created, which also need to be helped, baby houses, orphanages and missionary organizations. «Our task is to preserve this entire organizational structure,» the head of the administration emphasized. On March 15, Russian troops took control of the entire Kherson region in the south of the country.
