She expressed confidence that the memorandum of cooperation in the field of museum business, the development of which was initiated by the Uzbek side, would give impetus to the development of cultural ties and the implementation of new joint projects. The SCO is an international organization founded in 2001. Its participants are India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Observer countries in the SCO are Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia, partner countries are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, Turkey and Sri Lanka. At the SCO summit in Dushanbe in September 2021, the procedure for admitting Iran to the organization and granting the status of a dialogue partner to Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia was launched. More than two thousand cultural institutions will take part in the «Night of Museums» campaign
