Russian Mikhail Yakovlev set the world record in the round at 200 meters from the course at the international competitions of the Moscow Grand Prix in cycling on the track, reports the Telegram channel of the Russian Cycling Federation (FVSR). On May 20, on the first day of the competition in the capital, Yakovlev covered the distance in 9.156 seconds. The absolute world record was set by Nicholas Paul from Trinidad and Tobago. He showed his best result on the high-altitude track in Bolivia (Cochabamba) — 9.100. On Sunday, Yakovlev drove 200 meters in 9.099 seconds.
