Opposition in Moldova, the Party of Communists and the Shor Party protested to the government on Thursday in connection with the difficult socio-economic situation in the country, RIA Novosti correspondent reports. Earlier, the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Moldova announced a series of mass protests in the country. The bloc urged other parties and organizations to join, the Shor party announced its readiness to support the initiative. On Thursday, the action was held in Chisinau in front of the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. She brought together about 400 people. The protesters noted that the government is not coping with the economic crisis in the country. «We will protest until we remove power. And this is not because we are political opponents, but because we no longer want to allow bullying of citizens. We proposed in parliament a number of initiatives to overcome the economic crisis, but they were not supported by the majority,» said Marina Tauber, vice-chairman of the party, deputy of the legislative assembly, at the rally. The protesters expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of state support for citizens.» Today we came to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, in order to speak loudly about the problems of the social order, to say that Moldovan citizens are not slaves, that they built this state and deserve the full support of the state,” said Elena Bodnarenko, deputy from the Communist Party.
