According to investigators, Nefedova published «information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to destroy the civilian population on the territory of the Republic of Ukraine as part of the Special Military Operation.»
As noted by human rights activists, the reason for the case was a post about Bucha in the news format, in which the girl cited data voiced by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova, President Vladimir Zelensky, and the Russian Ministry of Defense. In addition, in the publication, Nefedova, with reference to the material of Mediazona, spoke about the non-staging of videos and photographs of dead civilians.
On May 23, the girl was searched, during which the investigators seized three phones, three hard disk, router and laptop with charger. Recognition not to leave the place was chosen as a preventive measure for Nefedova.
