The Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev did not talk about the number of Russian soldiers who died in the war with Ukraine.

Golovinov tried several more times to find out exactly how many people died in the war how and from whom you can get this information. In response, Avdeev asked “for what purposes” does the journalist need it, and what is he “going to do” with this data.
“When necessary, everyone will be assessed. And an investigation to everyone… and to those who wind up ratings for themselves, replicating it, warming up the mood. Trust me, I'm not arguing with you. It's just that this is not the kind of topic on which you need to do mass stuffing on the network <…> There is no need to demand, on such a nerve, that everything be revealed. We want to betray importance from the best reasons. And someone uses it for other purposes. Why should we give food to those who use it for other purposes,” the governor concluded.
During the three months of the war, the Ministry of Defense reported on the dead in Ukraine only twice. According to the agency, by March 25, 1,351 soldiers had died.
