Archival photoMARIUPOL, June 6 The secret documentation of the Azov regiment found in Mariupol notes that 70 percent of the population in the territories of the Donetsk People's Republic controlled by Kyiv are pro-Russian, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports. «The local population is pro-Russian in 70% of cases,» the fourth paragraph of the fifth page of the found plan for preparing for military operations in Mariupol and its suburbs says. The papers were located at the base of the Azov regiment, located in close proximity to 61 Mariupol city schools. The documents are a secret operational plan of the regiment numbered 1/16 and codenamed «Storm». The discovered plan sheds light on a carefully worked out algorithm of Ukraine's military operations against the Donetsk People's Republic. Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As President Vladimir Putin emphasized, its goal is «to protect people who have been subjected to abuse, genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the Ministry of Defense, by the end of March, the Russian army had completed the main tasks of the first stage — it significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine. The main goal in the department was called the liberation of Donbass.
