The Crimean Football Union (CFU) applied to the International Football Federation (FIFA) due to the image of Crimea as part of Ukraine on the form of the national team of this country, said the president of the CFU Sergey Borodkin. Earlier, the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) issued a special kit for the national team for friendly matches, on which Crimea was depicted as part of Ukraine. «We wrote to FIFA through UEFA. Our main question is: please explain how Crimea appeared on T-shirts along with Ukraine. Is it allowed by some kind of regulation, or is it just the most common provocation. No answer or reaction yet We have not received any,” Borodkin said. Earlier it was reported that the Russian Football Union (RFU) sent a protest to FIFA on this issue, as well as on certain statements made by UAF representatives regarding Russian citizens.
