Four people died, one in the hospital,» Kassymbek said on the website of the regional administration. The enterprise specified that on Friday, during the dismantling of refractory masonry in an inactive thermal furnace of the forging and pressing shop of Kurylysmet LLP (a subsidiary of AMT), the roof collapsed. As a result of the collapse of the roof of the furnace, five refractory workers of the metallurgical furnace repair shop were buried under the rubble.
