MOSCOW, June 23 University of California oncologist Solomon Hamburg named a rare symptom lung cancer. According to the specialist, heart palpitations can indicate the early development of the disease. “For some people, heart palpitations occur due to the fact that the lungs put pressure on the heart. They may also have a constant cough, shortness of breath, or they begin to lose weight without any effort,” the British newspaper Express quotes Hamburg as saying. Over time, symptoms may add pneumonia and bronchitis. By itself, a rapid heartbeat is rarely a symptom of lung cancer. You should be very careful about the following signs, which can also signal the development of oncology: a cough that does not go away for a long time, sputum with blood, pain when breathing, constant shortness of breath, unexplained weight loss. The main way to diagnose the disease is computed tomography of the chest organs. Experts advise to undergo an examination every year.
