MOSCOW, June 23 Continental Hockey League regular season 2022/23 starts on September 1, according to the official website of the KHL. In the match for the Opening Cup of the 2022/23 season, the current owner of the Gagarin Cup CSKA Moscow and the finalist of the last season Metallurg Magnitogorsk will play, the meeting will be held in Moscow. The regular season will end on February 26, it is expected that the teams will play 68 matches. This decision must be approved by the KHL board. In the regular season, one pause is planned for the games of the national teams from December 12 to 18, 2022, before which the KHL All-Star Game will be held in Chelyabinsk on December 10 and 11.
