Vucic received Hill at his residence in Belgrade on Tuesday . The parties discussed political and economic cooperation between Serbia and the United States, including investments by American companies, Belgrade's European integration, and negotiations between the Serbian leadership and the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina. >Vučić reported on the rise of Euroscepticism in Serbia»President Vučić thanked Ambassador Hill for the support his country is giving to Serbia's efforts to diversify energy sources, the interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to try even harder to ensure that Serbia has access to energy projects that are currently underway «We expect a clear position from Serbia to respect international law and condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as full commitment to reforms in the rule of law and in other areas necessary for progress on the European path,» the administration quotes Vučić of the American Ambassador. The Serbian leader, before the EU-Western Balkans summit in Brussels on June 23, said that the time for pressure on free and independent states was over. Vučić had previously said that Belgrade was ready to buy large volumes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the terminal in Greece in the future, a ceremony in honor of the start of construction of which took place on May 3 in the port of Alexandroupolis in northern Greece in the presence of the leaders of the Balkan countries and the EU. The construction of a floating storage and regasification station for liquefied natural gas (FSRU) is seen as a project leading to a reduction in the EU's dependence on Russian gas. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy of the country Zorana Mihajlovic said in early June that Serbia plans to receive 40% of the gas it needs through Bulgaria from Azerbaijan and other sources, in addition to Russia, which is now the only gas supplier to the country, from 2023.< img src="/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/2fca2e97649b171f642e62f16e67705d.jpg" />Serb leaders did not sign UN Security Council resolution on Ukraine
