
MOSCOW, July 1 Russian hockey player Valery Nichushkin was booed during the club's championship parade «Colorado Avalanche» after winning the Stanley Cup. In the final series, «Colorado» beat «Tampa» (4-2). Nichushkin took part in all six matches of the confrontation and scored 6 points (4 goals + 2 assists). In total, during the playoffs, the Russian scored 15 points (9 + 6) in 20 matches. When Nichushkin appeared at the ceremony in front of the fans, he was booed by a crowd of Colorado fans. The Russian striker limped noticeably in front of the public, as he played in the finals with a fracture of the metatarsal bone. Valery Nichushkin became the 36th Russian hockey player, whose name was put on the Stanley Cup. The Russians become the owners of the main NHL title for the seventh consecutive season.
