He added that Arsen Pavlov is a real Russian warrior, an example of courage and heroism. The commander of the Sparta battalion of the DPR Arsen Pavlov (call sign Motorola) died in Donetsk on October 16, 2016. An explosive device went off in the elevator of his house. The DPR believes that Pavlov died as a result of a terrorist attack organized by the Ukrainian special services. In 2020, a bust of Arsen Pavlov was erected in Donetsk on the Alley of Heroes. In May 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding Motorola the Order of Courage posthumously.
