MOSCOW, Jul 10 Mexican Ray Vargas defeated Filipino Mark Magsayo in fight for the world featherweight title according to the World Boxing Council (WBC). The fight, which took place on Sunday in San Antonio (USA), lasted all 12 rounds and ended with a split decision victory for Vargas. The score of the judges' notes is 114-113 (Magsayo), 115-112 and 115-112 (Vagras). In the professional ring, 31-year-old Vargas won 36 victories (22 by knockout), without suffering a single defeat. The 27-year-old former WBC featherweight champion Magsio suffered his first loss of his career with 24 wins.
