Russian Artistic Gymnastics Federation (FSGR) will do everything to achieve the truth and remove the issue of sanctions in 2022, the president of the FSGR Vasily Titov said in an interview. Previously, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) suspended Russian athletes from participating in international competitions against the backdrop of the situation in Ukraine. «We filed an appeal with CAS against decision of the International Gymnastics Federation.We are striving for these decisions to be canceled.It is difficult for me to speak about the future result, but we will do everything to get the truth.Of course, athletes suffer.For athletes and gymnastics, in which life time is extremely limited, Even any year is a huge time, but, nevertheless, we will strive to ensure that the issue of sanctions is removed this year,» Titov said.
