MOSCOW, July 10, Sergey Fuchs. Lokomotiv Moscow's Brazilian defender Lucas Fasson told reporters that the removal of Russian clubs from European competition did not become a problem for him when moving to the railroad camp. The 21-year-old player moved to Lokomotiv from Brazil's Atlético Paranaense in June. The contract with Fasson was signed for four years. «I am very glad that I ended up in Lokomotiv. I was well received in the team. I also really like Moscow, but, unfortunately, there was not enough time to get to know it. Lokomotiv is a great an opportunity for career development, since the European championship is here. In addition, the club is very friendly towards foreigners, many legionnaires played great here. I know about the removal of Russian clubs from European competitions, but I made a conscious decision. For me, this is not a problem, «said Fasson.Earlier, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the International Football Federation (FIFA) suspended Russian clubs and teams from participating in international competitions under the auspices of organizations due to the situation in Ukraine.
